  • ABOUT THE CARING STAR PROGRAM

    The Win-Win-Win attitude is the heart of Bannister Plumbing. The customer must “Win”, the team member must “Win”, and the company must “Win”. The “Bannister Caring Star Team” is a group of individuals dedicated to appropriately distributing our company’s charitable contributions, sponsorships, community service efforts, and most importantly carrying out the team member “Win” in our mission statement. Our goal is to complete these tasks while adhering to the Bannister Plumbing values of “Faith, Family, and Excellence”.

    The Bannister Caring Star Program will be funded in part by the “Bannister Caring Star Employee Giving Fund”. This fund provides an opportunity for team members to actively contribute and participate in our culture of giving. The Bannister Caring Star Employee Giving Fund will benefit, and be fully supported only by Bannister Plumbing team members.

    We have also decided that Bannister Plumbing will be matching the team member contributions to the fund by increasing our budgeted Donations and Contributions by that amount each year. Employees will have the opportunity to provide the Caring Star Team with the name of their favorite charitable organization and the Team will decide where to place the available funds.

    Name: Troy Bannister

    Job Title: Service Manager

    Worked at Bannister Plumbing since: Opening day 1 in 2007

    Favorite Part about working at Bannister Plumbing: Meeting homeowners and ensuring they are provided the quality service that they deserve.

    What Caring Star means to me: Helping people when they are in need and reaching out to the community to get involved and show our appreciation!

    Name: Zach Harrison

    Job Title: Service Technician

    Worked at Bannister Plumbing since: 2014

    Favorite Part about working at Bannister Plumbing: The Christian and Family oriented base of the company.

    What Caring Star means to me: The Caring Star to me is a way for our Bannister Plumbing family to show compassion for one another and with our community. Everyone needs help now and the Caring Star is a way for us to help when others are in need.

    Hobbies: Hunting, Fishing, and sports.

    Family: Married to Kirstie with two young boys, Kyser and Kohen.


    Name: Jordan Shaver

    Job Title: Service Technician

    Worked at Bannister Plumbing since: June 16, 2016

    Favorite Part about working at Bannister Plumbing: Being able to make customers happy by solving their plumbing problems in a safe professional manner.

    What Caring Star means to me: It is a family outside of my family at home. Having someone there for you when you need a helping hand.

    Hobbies: Spending quality time with family, hunting, and fishing.

    Family: I’ve been married for nine years to my wonderful wife, Amber. We have one eight-year-old son named Corbin who loves playing baseball and spending time outdoors.

    Job Title: Service Dispatcher

    Favorite Part about working at Bannister Plumbing: I love a fast-paced job, and this is just that! But, I also appreciate working as part of a team who cares about their customers.

    What Caring Star means to me: I work for a company that cares not only for the needs of the company but also for the needs of those in the community. It is a way that we can give back!

    Hobbies: Cattle, wildlife rehabilitation, anything animal, and recreational shooting.

    Family: Husband-Eddie.

    Job Title: New Construction Plumber

    Favorite Part about working at Bannister Plumbing: We work as a family.

    What Caring Star means to me: Helping those in need during their struggles when they least expect help from others.

    Hobbies: Playing basketball and baseball with my kids

    Family: I have 4 kids and all of them have the same initials as I do…A.P


    Name: Cortney Holman

    Job Title: Registered Nurse – Heart to Heart Hospice

    Caring Star Position: Community Member.

    How I become a Community Member on the Caring Star Team: I liked what it is about and I told them I wanted to be a part of it!

    What Caring Star means to me: Giving back to the community.

    Hobbies: Shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

    Family: I am married to a handsome cowboy and have 3 sweet little cowboys


    Name: Kali Jo and Kynli Bannister

    Job Title: Students at East Side

    Caring Star Position: Kid Members (help think of FUN ideas that we can do)

    What Caring Star means to me: Kali Jo says,” It is a Christian program that likes to help others. Its really fun and i love getting to help others when they are in need, even though sometimes we don’t even know who all is receiving our help but we know it goes to a good place. When we built whisper phones it made me feel really good because I got to give back to my own school!”

    Hobbies: Kali Jo – basketball, softball, riding horses. Kynli – basketball, riding horses and playing all the time!

    Family: My family is always there for me. I have a mom and dad and a really good sister! My parents are the owners of Bannister Plumbing. They wanted me to learn how to help others and good ways to help others.-Kali Jo


    Online and paper forms will be available for submission from team and community members. Team members can also personally and confidentially go to the Culture and Care Manager at any time to make requests.

    The Culture and Care Manager receives, tracks, and presents the requests to the Bannister Caring Star Team bi-weekly. In the event of emergency situations, emergency meetings or communications may be held. The Bannister Caring Star Team reviews the requests and takes an anonymous vote. Majority rule applies to all votes.
